The goal of the Proud Sponsor campaign is to create a grassroots movement on behalf of college. To begin, we developed a series of ads for digital and print platforms that highlight the broad, positive impacts of higher education throughout our nation and the world. Then we tested the campaign to prove its effectiveness. And now, we’re looking for partners like you to help spread the message across the country. See below for details.
The National Campaign
A free messaging toolkit is available to download. Organizations can use these assets unbranded to help promote the value of college to every American, regardless of whether you earn a degree. We’re also seeking funding support for a media campaign to reach the broad audiences we’ll need to improve perceptions of higher education.
State-Level Impacts
We’re also partnering with state-level higher education systems and organizations to help promote the value of college through branded campaigns that highlight the kinds of local stories and impacts that will most resonate with their stakeholders. A Proven Message
BVK conducted a national survey of 2,004 demographically representative U.S. adults aged 35-64. Across the general population, perceptions of the value of higher education improved after exposure to the campaign. Results were especially promising among two groups who have been the most skeptical regarding the value of college: rural Americans and those without college degrees.
