Stories of Impact
Higher education is one of the most powerful forces for social and economic progress for everyone, regardless of whether you earn a degree. But restoring people’s trust in higher education will not come solely from improving communication. To build genuine support, colleges and universities need to address three specific concerns that critics express most often about higher education: the rising cost of higher education and its impact on affordability, the workplace relevance of the education that college provides, and the potential political bias in what is taught.
Colleges and universities are doing a lot to address each of these concerns. They are expanding access, improving affordability, equipping students with the skills the workforce demands, and fostering civil discourse and protecting free speech on campuses. Through real, compelling stories of personal transformation, economic mobility, innovation, and community impact, CASE and BVK are partnering with colleges and universities to shape a bold, unified narrative — one that makes clear higher education doesn’t just change lives. It strengthens our communities, drives opportunity, and fuels the future.
